The jury and viewers of the Carpathian Mountain Film Festival have chosen their winners. We are delighted to announce the films that received awards this year.
Members of the jury, consisting of the program director of the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA, film critic Julia Kovalenko, director Olesya Morgunets-Isayenko, and producer Ilya Gladstein, selected four winners:
Best Narrative Short Film: Go to the woods, dir. Lucie Prost (France, 2022)
Best Animated Short Film: Egoland, dir. Ignasi López Fàbregas (Spain, 2022)
Special Mention For Animated Short Film: Wild Summon, dir. Karni Arieli, Saul Freed (United Kingdom, 2023)
Best Short Documentary Film: Hello, I`m on the hill, dir. Liza Pyrozhkova (Ukraine, 2023
Special Mention For Short Documentary Film: Lendemain, dir. Glenn Dumortier (Belgium, 2022)
Best Feature Documentary Film: Three Women, dir. Maksym Melnyk (Germany, 2022)
The Audience Choice Award, determined through voting, went to the film by Alisa Kovalenko WE WILL NOT FADE AWAY.
